GET TO KNOW CHEZ

Cheryl Iriajen – (AKA) Chez:

A passionate women's health advocate with over 45 years of combined experience. In the application of Women's Health. She qualified and graduated as a general Nurse in 2001 and soon after a Midwife; she currently works at both senior & corporate levels in the public and private sectors and has worked globally and served in other nations. Chez's entrance into the arena of midwifery, both clinical and senior management, and exposure to corporate and Non-Government Organisation (NGO) boardrooms gave her the real insight and platform to empower and inspire and enable others.

Chez views her charitable work as an integral part and extension of her ministry, which ‘challenges’ her to embrace the appointed marketplace assignments in her life and embrace more opportunities to “Educate, Enable and Empower” (Iriajen 2012). As such, it facilitates babies, mothers’ communities and organizations to navigate life in physical and spiritual structures holistically. Her recent signature ministerial Event: The Birth Room, is this and her journey to date.

In 2015, Chez was presented with a Women in Leadership tribute. She is a certified life & leadership coach and mentor. As a result of her knowledge and achievements, she has gone on to launch and co-found organizations that educate, empower and enable - aid and help women, their babies, family units and communities. Her passion and advocacy for ‘equitable’ life opportunities and life and rightful access transcend the marketplace and her charitable and global service.

Chez is a sought-after speaker; with a specific talent and insight into value-based leadership (VBL) and a passionate, proven track record of advocacy - work for equitable places and spaces for marginalized racial groups. Her presentation style is an engaging dialogue, resulting in an empowering thoughtful exchange, extending beyond the walls and ‘limitations’ of her sessions/presentations. This has enabled positive strategic outcomes for individuals and organizations - staff, clients and communities (‘within’). Further confirming Chez’s belief in the power and necessity of positive human exchange and connection(s).

She is the Visionary and Founder of Hummingbirds Sings Ministry, which has various ministry-integrated pathways. Inclusive of their ministerial event: The Birth Room. The Birth Room is a signature integrated Pathway of Hummingbirds sings and her ministerial journey to date.
